Mark & Marion Gilfoyle took on the Brookside Hotel in 2003 having previously operated at the Abbotsford Court Hotel, Chester. In 2007 Mark & Marion invited Richard Mansel-Edwards, who was an officer onboard the Cunard flag ships Queen Elizabeth 2 & latterly the Queen Mary 2, to join them and he took on the role as General Manager. Ian: Has been with the Hotel since 1996, and looks forward to welcoming back previous guests & trusts new guests will enjoy the unique home from home experience.
